Youth Pageant
Miss
Ages 9-12
Must be able to dance a song, sing a song and do an introduction
Jr. Miss
Ages 5-8
Must be able to dance to a song and do an introduction
Lil Miss
Ages 0-4
Must dance, if not walking then parent must dance with them.
Parade
Join us as we kick off the day with a grand youth parade, showcasing the vibrant spirit and energy of our young community members. The parade is a delightful display of creativity and enthusiasm, as participants bring their best floats to life.
Highlights:
Line Up: Line up is by the WIC Office at 9am
Start Time: 11am and the parade route will take us straight to the wacipi for the Grass Flattening Ceremony
Top Prize: The winning float will be awarded 8 hours of administrative leave for a tribal program, making the competition even more exciting.
Theme: This year’s theme is "TBD," encouraging participants to let their imaginations run wild and create floats that reflect their unique ideas and inspirations.
Come and support our youth as they march through the parade route, bringing smiles and joy to everyone in attendance. It’s a wonderful way to start our celebration and honor the creativity and spirit of our young community members.
